MonaVie A New Style MLM
When MonaVie was first launched back in 2005, it had already been decided that the company would use network marketing. It would be a company that uses MLM (Multi Level Marketing) to sell and distribute its products. The top three videos with the most views over the duration of the contest win prizes including $1000, a trip to Brazil, and EMV Smart Car.
This contest does two important things. It gets the MonaVie distributors excited about the new MonaVie EMV product, and eager to sell and promote it. And it posts numerous product videos in a media that is viewed by the market that it wants to reach.
In addition to social media marketing, MonaVie also participates in sports marketing including popular events like Indy racing and professional bike racing. Again, these sports are followed by people who are likely to use an energy drink.
While MonaVie has its share of high energy meetings and other special events where the distributors are revved up and high sellers win cars and trips, it also has seized the new marketing opportunities on the internet and in social media sites. They have taking the basics of old school MLM and added some new twists to take MonaVie to the top.
